Honduras' crime problem
Media outfits CBS News and the Telegraph once called Honduras as the most dangerous country on the planet, linking the prevalence of drugs as one of the major hurdles of the country’s growth. Honduras’ economic global ranking is at 113th, garnering 57.7 during last year’s Economic Freedom Score. But despite venturing in a market that advocates openness, the country still plagues with corruption and labor freedom, while having a 3.9% unemployment rate.
